Tucked away amid the villas and holiday homes, L'Inattendu is as unexpected as its name suggests. The pleasant surprises keep on coming: from the amuse-bouches to the dessert, diners enjoy cuisine that is based on fresh local produce (including the odd herb plucked from the owner's kitchen garden), and skilfully prepared (eg hibiscus, saffron and lemon gels, ice creams and mousses). Sturgeon, endives and kombucha; a succulent 48hr-cooked pork belly, sweet potato and hibiscus; chocolate, caramel and saffron. You can also expect a warm welcome and palpable enthusiasm from the front-of-house team. A culinary hotspot that is a hit with locals and tourists alike.
