Arti’Choc is vaguely reminiscent of a cosy German stube. The warm interior of this characteristic edifice and Katja’s cheerful personality set the friendly scene. Chef Daniel, a fan of fine produce, rolls out a wide range of French staples. Zeeland mussels in a creamy curry sauce with a quenelle stuffed with delicate white fish and chervil, or Ondenval trout à la meunière with almonds and apples and a crisp salad. Food that goes straight to the heart and warms the soul courtesy of rich wholesome flavours. The numerous jars of jam and home-made limoncello with Menton lemons available for purchase bear witness to the establishment’s devotion to artisanal traditions.
